The 15th Annual Community First Seawalk Music Festival
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The 15th Annual Community First Seawalk Music Festival, traditionally held during the final weekend of February, will move to the premier first weekend of spring. The newly scheduled Saturday through Sunday weekender will be held on April 3 and 4, 2027, at the oceanfront Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach.
This follows the retirement of the Springing the Blues Festival announced earlier this month. Parent organization Jax Beach Festivals, Inc. announced this major date expansion for its signature sister event.
Organizers emphasized that while festival calendars are evolving, the organization will continue to act as a permanent force for good in Northeast Florida. The date change represents the first of several community-focused announcements to be made over the coming months.
“For 15 years, this festival has been about celebrating the incredible talent we have right here in Northeast Florida and bringing people together at the beach,” said Sam Inman, president and CEO of Community First Credit Union. “We’re proud to have been part of that tradition, and we’re excited to see it begin a new chapter this spring. Originally created to celebrate the rich creative arts and diverse talent originating from the wider Northeast Florida area, the Community First Seawalk Music Festival has grown exponentially in scale and scope. The move to the prime April weekend, historically occupied by Springing the Blues, positions the festival to provide an enhanced experience under optimal spring weather conditions.
Attendees can look forward to:
Eclectic Soundscapes: A diverse, curated array of musical genres spanning local and regional performers, including local and regional blues musicians and groups.
Artisan Marketplace: Original creative artists, crafters, and leading-edge local entrepreneurs.
